A monumental identity, indexing framework, and digital home for Archive, a centralised repository designed to preserve and showcase historical and cultural material. The project establishes a definitive single source of truth, balancing rigid preservation requirements with dynamic modern accessibility.
The Vision
To honour historical depth while ensuring future utility, I directed a minimalist, structural visual language that acts as an invisible canvas for the content it holds. I anchored the brand with brutalist, high-legibility typography, clinical grid layouts, and an adaptive digital taxonomy system. The resulting framework functions seamlessly as an intuitive digital interface, a tactile physical cataloguing system, and a striking spatial identity, proving that rigorous administrative logic can be elevated into a profound, premium design statement.
